Kalalayi Church Service

Lively is an understatement of the church service in Kalalayi! We had a great time. We told them about the churches back home that sent us, their prayers and their excitement for the borehole. They responded by thanking the church for their love and praised God that he has heard their prayers. Today the drilling rig shows up and we will show the Jesus film right next to the rig tonight. God is good!

Thank you again team, for sharing your adventure with us via the blog. I am so thrilled for this village and the on-going blessing they will receive from this new well. Many thanks to you for stepping up to the challenge to fulfill God's call to be his hands and feet and voice in Kalalayi. What a great example of His love you bringing to them along with an answer to their prayers. Praying that all goes well with the well. And HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUG!! (by the time you read this)

Happy Birthday Honey,
I spent one birthday away from you walking on the Great Wall and now it's your turn to celebrate from afar. I can't imagine the excitement that everyone must feel as the drilling begins. When you wake on April 16th, you will be starting your 42nd year. I am so privileged to have spent 24 yrs with you and can't wait to see what God has in store for you/us this next year. I'm thinking about you, praying for you and really missing you. Happy Birthday. Ich liebe dich. J

Hope you're all getting drilled right now. Literally.
(Well, not with dodge balls or anything, but you know what I mean.)

Happy Birthday, Doug! What a cool gift for God to give you clean drinking water for many people you've never met but He has.

I look forward to hearing the water is flowing and the spiders are sleeping and the bodily functions are working. Thanks for the updates. And an update for you....Reverend Stroh let us out 20 mins earlier than you do.

Happy birthday Doug! I hope somehow you get your favorite candy bar, a plain old Hershey's chocolate bar, on your birthday!! I'm sure you have many memorable birthdays, but this one will probably top them all! Jess, make sure all your new friends know it is Doug's birthday. We will want to know how/if they celebrate birthdays! Happy drilling!! Nancy
