This is an ecumenical project between the churches in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to provide fresh clean drinking water for the village of Kalalayi in Southern Sudan and the surrounding villages.

Here you will see the chronicled events of the project leading up to the team’s departure from the United States and then daily while the team is in Africa. Helping another traveler
We have stopped somewhere between a rock and a hard spot. The temperature is very high, I would say well over 100. It is usually 5-10 degrees hotter in East Mundri than Juba. This bus has a flat and we stopped to provide a small bottle jack so they could repair their flat. A few minutes and we should be on our way.
