This is an ecumenical project between the churches in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to provide fresh clean drinking water for the village of Kalalayi in Southern Sudan and the surrounding villages.

Chicken and rice at Episcopal Church guest house
We are staying at the Guest House at the Episcopal Church in S Sudan. We had worked out a price of $50 per room (3 rooms) and includes supper and breakfast. When we arrived, apparently Jesus needed a few more bucks so the price skyrocketed to $275! I had to persuade the money changers and worked a deal for $200. It's tough to experience a constant fleecing, especially when you don't expect it. It's ok though. We are here to be loving and to drill a well. These people have so little and Americans are an opportunity to have some desperately needed money.
