Jessi coloring with Kalalayi kids

Jessi had a busy late afternoon as she got right in with the children and women. Here she is coloring with them and they had a blast. Darwin, Shane and I hung out with the men, doing what the men do...sitting in plastic chairs and telling women what to do. Someone's gotta do it.

You boys BEST be treating Jessi like a QUEEN and modeling how they SHOULD be treating their women!

Don't get too used to it, unless you are planning on living there.

I have a feeling Jessi had more fun anyway, as I'm sure she rolled her eyes at any man "orders." Plus, who doesn't love coloring?

Jessi! I have been praying for you friend and wanted to share this verse with you that I read this morning :) God's way is perfect and the promises of the Lord are true! He is a shield for all of those who take refuge in Him. Psalm 18:30 I miss you and am so excited at how God is using your amazing heart to minister to the lives of others in Sudan, especially the kids in this picture! I can't wait to see you when you get back! p.s. Powerhouse bowling and soccer camp has been going very well so don't you worry we have you taken care of here!! Love you!
